UK postal services
If you are a publisher of magazines, journals or newsletters, Royal Mail's Presstream® offers great savings on the standard UK postal costs. But you need to work with an accredited mailing house that can produce magazine mailings to the requirements of the Presstream services.

We are one of Royal Mail’s largest mailing fulfilment partners so we can provide all of the address management, fulfilment, and sorting services required.

Presstream® is ideal for you if you distribute a minimum of 1,000 Large Letters, A3 Packets or Packets at least twice a year. Your item must have at least one sixth editorial content.

International postal services
We provide specialist international magazine postal services i.e. Magstream, Periodicals, Pressepost etc, which are Presstream equivalents in other countries, so provide extra discounts for qualifying publications.

Where the lowest price is key
We also manage many magazine mailings where low cost postage is the priority and speed of delivery is less important e.g. bimonthly and quarterly business titles, but although our postage prices are some of the cheapest available we only utilise reliable and reputable services with fast and accurate delivery aims (IMDAS Accredited).

Extra discounts for magazines mailed at least four times per year
We can provide discounts for journal and magazine mailings that are circulated at least four times per year, as we can access Presstream equivalent services with postal authorities of other countries. We also have partnerships with private magazine delivery companies in countries across the world.

About PPA Associate membership
PPA’s Associate membership scheme was established in 1993 to bring suppliers closer to the 85 per cent of UK magazine publishers represented by our membership.

PPA now has approximately 70 associate members, supplying services ranging from acquisitions and mergers, computer software and new media, to subscriptions services and telemarketing.

Associate membership is designed to develop and encourage strong partnerships between member publishing companies and their trading partners, to give profile and recognition to reliable suppliers and to enable those suppliers to enjoy the same services and benefits as publisher members.

All applications for membership are submitted to the PPA Audit Committee for approval and four references are required, including two from existing PPA Scotland members to ensure that only credible and quality service providers can join the associate membership.

Reliable international delivery services at low prices
BTB Mailflight is a founder member of IMDAS. The International Mail Distribution Accreditation Scheme (IMDAS) is a quality standard, specifically developed by the Periodical Publishers Association (PPA) to test the procedures and processes of international mail distribution.

IMDAS is process-based, with audits, site visits, checks and measurement. To become accredited, companies have to apply for and pass an audit on how they handle mail delivered or collected by the consolidator or mail produced by the consolidator, ready for posting. The accreditation is renewed annually on successful completion of a compliance questionnaire. Companies also have their performance measured by customer satisfaction surveys.
