In February we will be launching colour digital print services, intelligent envelope inserting services, and a hybrid mail solution! We will provide more details in the new year, but here's a quick summary.
Colour digital print - print on demand and variable data print services
From February we will be able to offer you high quality full colour digital print services with our investment in HP and Xerox colour digital printing presses. This means you will be able to benefit from print on demand (POD), and variable data print (VDP) services.
Variable data print
Variable data printing is mainly used for direct marketing and customer relationship management, it means you can create marketing collateral that has multiple personalisation which is proven to increase response rates. Prime examples of where VDP works well include:
- Direct mail
- Selfmailers / one-piece-mailers
- Brochures
- Postcards
- Posters
- Invoices and statements
- Welcome packs
- Greetings cards
Print on demand
Digital print on demand can provide cost savings, increase ROI, and improve your 'green' credentials, so we are delighted to be able to offer you this solution.

Intelligent envelope inserting
We are investing in a DSI envelope inserting machine with camera and barcode/datamatrix reader to ensure 100% integrity. This not only improves the direct mail production service we already offer you , but also means that we are geared up to handle more financial mailings such as statements and invoices where 100% integrity is required.
Hybrid mail solution - send mail from your PC!
La Poste's hybrid mail solution is the market leader in France, and it is more sophisticated than any UK hybrid mail solution, so we are pleased to announce that we will be launching this service in the UK in early 2011.
Our solution will enable you to create documents on your PC i.e. letters, invoices etc but when you click on 'print' the documents are automatically sent to us to print and mail at wholesale rates. This solution is ideal for typical office post that is sent each day that you do not currently get postage discounts for.
As well as postage savings it takes away the need for you to employ people to stuff envelopes, and our Xerox 700 printers will provide better quality print at less cost. There are also environmental benefits too.
In addition to saving you money, our hybrid mail solution provides a User Management feature and reports so you can control what users/departments are mailing, and you can send email, fax, and SMS messages too, so it is a truly integrated communications tool.
