Mail fulfilment
Every direct mail fulfilment job is different so to provide accurate and sustainable prices we need to know the details of the job:

• Mailing quantity

• Pack contents (brochure? leaflet? letter?)

• Materials (envelope type, paper type etc)

• Dimensions of pack

• Weight

• Postal, data, and print requirements if appropriate

This information does not need to be 100% accurate for us to provide an Estimate but the more details the better if at all possible.

We will also be able to see if we can source your print and materials cheaper for you, and provide prices for processing and cleansing your data to ensure minimum wastage, and to make sure you are achieving the maximum postage discount.

Polywrapping
With 5 Sitma polywrapping lines we can provide prices for large volume runs as well as smaller mailings, and polywrapping prices are low as we produce up to 5 million polywrapped packs per month. Our price will depend on several factors i.e.

• The pack contents

• The number of inserts

• Dimensions

• Quantity

• Inkjet addressing or carrier sheet required

Your requirements are likely to vary from job to job, but with capacity for up to 10 inserts, selective insertion, covermounting, inkjet addressing or carrier-sheet production you can be assured of flexible options and pricing. We can also provide polythene at trade prices including clear, printed and environmentally friendly options.

UK postal services
We can provide Royal Mail estimates (Mailsort, Presstream etc) as well as prices for our own UK DownStream Access postal service (which can be cheaper than Mailsort 2 with a better delivery aim). We also work with several UK courier and freight partners so can provide trade prices for these services as well.

To get postage prices we will need to know the following:

• The mailing quantity

• The dimensions of the mail piece

• The weight of the mail piece (if unknown we can estimate this based on the pack contents)

• Your preferred delivery aim i.e. next day, 2 days, 7 days etc

• A description of the mail piece

  • Example 1) An A4 single sided letter printed in black text on a 2 colour letterhead, folded to A5, and inserted in a windowed C5 envelope along with an 8 page leaflet.

  • Example 2) An A5 catalogue, approx 46 pages, to be inkjet addressed and polywrapped in clear polythene with 6 A5 inserts.

  • Example 3) A t-shirt and a baseball cap to be collated and inserted into a jiffybag along with a personalised letter, and an address label and postmark to be applied to the outer.

• The frequency of the mailing i.e. weekly, monthly, quarterly, one off etc.

International postal services
Our international postage prices are some of the lowest available from the UK. We were pioneers in the international mail industry, and are part of Europe's second largest postal group.

In order to provide you with postage prices we just need to know:

1) The dimensions and weight of the mail piece.

2) The delivery time required (priority or standard/economy, or we can provide prices for both options).

3) The number of items to be mailed to each country (or a rough guide)

4) The nature of the item i.e. magazine, direct mail etc.

5) The frequency of the mailing.

We have produced a DIY pricing calculator using Microsoft Excel, this lists our order fulfilment services and prices so you can input your own volumes i.e. order volumes, number of pallets in stock etc and the tool will calculate the estimated monthly totals and an average price per order fulfilled by us.

All pricing is itemised and in addition to storage and pick and pack prices we can also provide prices for postage, courier, and packaging materials.

We will input some starting values based on our conversation with you, but then you can change these so you can see what effect a peak or drop in demand would have.

To provide you with quotes for print and materials we will need the following information please:

• What type of printing do you require? i.e. brochures, flyers, magazines, POS, letterheads, envelopes etc.

• What quantity of each type do you require?

• If applicable, please specify how many pages you need printed for each document?

• Do you require full colour or black and white printing?

• What size do you want your printing to be?

• What GSM do you require (i.e. paper thickness)?

• What paper finish do you require?

• Are your documents/images typeset (i.e. formatted and ready for print)?

• When do you want the printing work completed?

• Any other details to help us prepare our proposal.
