Order fulfilment pricing calculator
We have produced a DIY pricing calculator using Microsoft Excel, this lists our order fulfilment services and prices so you can input your own volumes i.e. order volumes, number of pallets in stock etc and the tool will calculate the estimated monthly totals and an average price per order fulfilled by us. All pricing is itemised and in addition to storage and pick and pack prices we can also provide prices for postage, courier, and packaging materials.
We will input some starting values based on our conversation with you, but then you can change these so you can see what effect a peak or drop in demand would have.

Direct mail fulfilment estimates
Every direct mail fulfilment job is different so to provide accurate and sustainable prices we need to know the details of the job i.e. materials, volume, pack contents, dimensions, weight etc. With this information we can provide our best prices. We will also be able to see if we can source your print and materials cheaper for you, and provide prices for processing and cleansing your data to ensure minimum wastage, and to make sure you are achieving the maximum postage discount.

Polywrapping estimates
With 5 Sitma polywrapping lines we can provide prices for large volume runs as well as smaller mailings, and polywrapping prices are low as we produce up to 5 million polywrapped packs per month. Our price will depend on the pack contents, dimensions, volume and the details of what is required, but with capacity for up to 10 inserts, selective insertion, covermounting, inkjet addressing or carrier-sheet production you can be assured of flexible options and pricing. We can also provide polythene at trade prices including clear, printed and environmentally friendly options.

International postage quotes
Our international postage prices are some of the lowest available from the UK. We were pioneers in the international mail industry, and are part of Europe's second largest postal group. In order to provide you with postage prices we just need to know:
1) The dimensions and weight of the mail piece.
2) The delivery time required (priority or standard/economy).
3) The number of items to be mailed to each country.
4) The nature of the item i.e. magazine, direct mail etc.
5) The frequency of the mailing.

UK postage prices
We can provide Royal Mail estimates (Mailsort, Presstream etc) as well as prices for our own UK DownStream Access postal service (which can be cheaper than Mailsort 2 with a better delivery aim). We also work with several UK courier and freight partners so can provide trade prices for these services as well.

We can send you our Contact Centre pricing calculator (Excel file) which lists our contact centre services and prices. You can then input the volumes to budget for different scenarios i.e. how is price effected by an increase or decrease in call volumes or postal responses?; what if you push more respondents to your website rather than postal/telephone responses? etc.

*A note about postage prices
When comparing postage prices from different mailing houses it is important to bear in mind that if you are a UK company and your Royal Mail postage account is being used then the postage prices you achieve will be the same regardless of which mailing house you use, assuming they are providing like-for-like fulfilment and postage services. For example if two mailing houses are fulfilling the same Mailsort 700 Mailsort 2 mailing for you the postage prices for the mailing should be the same.
You may however receive Royal Mail postage price estimates from mailing houses that vary. This is likely to be because they have estimated slightly different quantity splits of directs and residues, as the exact split won't be known until the data has been Mailsorted, or they may have used different mail formats or weights in their calculations. Ultimately if different mailing houses are capable of using the exact Royal Mail postal service you have requested then the postage prices invoice you receive from Royal Mail at the end of the mailing should be exactly the same!
Some mailing houses may charge a fee on top of Royal Mail's postage prices for undertaking the administration. They may also charge additional fees on top of the postage prices if you are using their Royal Mail account. If they do then this should be highlighted in their fulfilment/postage price quote, and it is always worth double checking this with them.
BTB Mailflight's postage prices quotes can often look a bit different to other mailing houses because as well as Royal Mail's postage prices we can also provide quotes for postage prices from alternative UK postal operators. For UK mailings using a mix of Royal Mail's postage prices and alternative postage prices can often provide significant benefits and postage price savings.
Our international postage prices quotes will also list a number of postal operators i.e. La Poste postage prices for delivering mail to France, Swiss Post for delivering mail to Switzerland, Mail Africa for delivering post to Africa etc etc. Using a mix of postage providers can save a lot of money over just using Royal Mail's postage prices, or any other single postal operator.
