What is a direct entry postal service?
Direct Entry is simply a style of international mailing where each mail piece is customised to the local market it is being sent to. Whereas your marketing agency will customise the creative to ensure the language and imagery fits with local culture, Direct Entry does the same with the format of the mail piece. The service provides:
• Local PPI (Postage Printed Impression) for the individual country.
• Mail piece design to fit within local mailing regulations.
• Local return address for responses.
• 'Best rate' postage charges based on negotiated rates with overseas post offices and private agents.
So for example if you are designing a mailing for the German market you will get a better response rate if you produce the mail piece in German, and include a German PPI and a German return address on the envelope, and that's what we can do for you.
Although direct entry might seem like quite a simple process, BTB Mailflight have in fact spent over 25 years developing a network of services worldwide. It involves dealing with local languages, currencies, cultures and time differences, and maintaining and developing the network is a full time job.
Why use direct entry postal services?

We can help you increase your overseas direct mail response rates by designing and franking your mail pieces as is customary in the destination country and can even include a sender's address that is inside that country (with returns being redirected back to you).
