M-Bag postal services

Low cost, reliable delivery of heavier weight mail.

If you have a need to send over two kilos of mail to one destination or you have a lot of mail going to one client on a regular basis then our M-Bag service is a very cost effective option.

M-Bags are a way of shipping all mail for one location in a sealed and secure specific bag, therefore all mail is delivered at the same time and in good condition.

Normal international mail is designed for up to two kilos per piece, with M-Bags you can place as much mail as you can for one address into our specifically designed bags with a weight limit of 25 kilos. M-Bags are individually priced and are much more cost effective, as there are lower sortation and delivery costs.

Good examples of when M-Bags are an excellent cost effective solution include:

• Sending a company newsletter.
• Sending payroll information.
• Sending a company magazine.
• Sending a heavy catalogue.
• Sending a heavy directory.

Basically when you are trying to reach a large number of people all at one address, or have heavyweight mail pieces to send.

We are approved by the Mail Consolidators Association (MCA) and by IMDAS, the International Mail Distribution Accreditation Scheme. In fact our CEO was Chairman of the Mail Consolidators Association for 3 years, and we were founding members of IMDAS!

M-Bag criteria

Minimum weight
There is no longer a minimum-weight threshold for Airmail M-bag usage. However, customers who tender Airmail M-bags that weigh less than 11 pounds are still required to pay the applicable 11-pound postage rate.

Maximum weight
25KG (including the tare weight of the sack).

Identification
PS Tag 158, the Airmail M-Bag Addressee Tag, must be completed and attached to the neck of the sack.

Allowable Contents
Certain categories of merchandise can be combined with printed matter in an M-bag provided that all of the criteria are met for allowable contents.
