Banking and thanking
This includes receipt of mail, mail sorting and batching, opening, scanning, data capture, banking, reconciliation, and archiving. Followed by the fulfilment of thank you letters sent to the people making the donation to the charity.
Fundraising material fulfilment
Managing the distribution of fundraising material to trade outlets, offices, hospitals and fundraising volunteers homes is an area where BTB Mailflight offer expertise. We are currently involved in some of the UK's largest regular fundraising campaigns including Fairtrade Fortnight and Christian Aid Week, and we also gear up for emergency donation acquisition campaigns.
Mail order fulfilment
Many charities produce catalogues and online shops where customers can order free literature, or purchase products. BTB Mailflight's principle client for this is Diabetes UK for whom we store over 500 product lines and fulfil thousands of orders per month.
Magazine and journal mailings
Do you keep in touch with your donors through a magazine or newsletter? Many charities do, and magazine mailings are a core service provided by BTB Mailflight. We handle magazine mailings for the likes of British Heart Foundation, Diabetes UK and Mencap as well as fulfilling some of the UK's best know magazines e.g. Radio Times, NME, Countrylife and The Economist.
We also store back issues of magazines and journals that we then fulfill on demand.

BTB Mailflight's print management and procurement team have over 30 years experience of sourcing print and materials so can provide excellent prices and can manage the whole process. We simply need you to provide us with the artwork for your print and we will do the rest!

Fundraising Materials Fulfilment
We receive orders from Christian Aid’s fundraising personnel for a range of materials, and we currently manage the storage and fulfilment of over 120 stock items, including: collection tins, posters, PVC banners, donation Thank You leaflets, fundraising packs, guide books etc.
Christian Aid’s order volumes peak at around 6000 orders a month which equates to hundreds of thousands of items fulfilled. It is absolutely critical that their fulfilment supplier understands the culture and fast-paced nature of marketing at Christian Aid, and our Account Management team act as an integrated part of the direct marketing team at Christian Aid.
Catalogue Order Fulfilment & Donation Handling
Diabetes UK produce a catalogue filled with a variety of literature, fundraising material and merchandise. BTB Mailflight handle the responses from individuals, healthcare professionals and voluntary groups, and fulfil thousands of items a month. Items include books, leaflets, keyrings, mugs, t-shirts, posters, exhibition stands, and POS material.
Our response centre also processes donations that many customers like to make when they are placing their order.
Magazine Mailings
Balance magazine is published every two months and is free of charge to the 170,000 members of Diabetes UK. Magazine mailings are another core service provided by BTB Mailflight and we provide the polythene wrapping and mailing solution, with capacity for up to ten inserts.
Conference Services
- Production of welcome packs (or "delegate bags") with inserts for delegates. - Transportation and return of exhibition stands and crates from Diabetes UK London offices.
- Storage of exhibition materials.
- Creation and despatch of acknowledgement letters and joining instructions.
Magazine Subscription Management
BTB Mailflight manage the circulation and subscription management of two magazines for BHF.
Heart Health magazine with a circulation of 30,000 magazines is published quarterly, and Saving Lives magazine is mailed to 8000 subscribers.
British Heart Foundation were keen to increase their subscriber numbers and improve how subscribers were managed, our solution includes:
- Developing, hosting and managing their database.
- Development of an online order form maintaining BHF branding.
- Receiving enquiries & orders via telephone, fax, email, website and post.
