BTB Mailflight's Quality Standards
Established in 1969 BTB Mailflight are one of the UK's most experienced mailing houses and working with BTB Mailflight you can be assured of receiving high quality mailing fulfilment and postal services. We have achieved the quality standards required from a number of direct marketing and mailing Associations and governing bodies, as well as the national benchmark quality standards that leading companies strive to achieve:
- NQA ISO9001:2000 Accredited
- Achieved Investors in People status (IIP)
- Member of the Direct Marketing Association (DMA)*
- Quality Standard for Mail Production Accredited (QMP)
- Member of the Mail Consolidators Association (MCA)**
- Associate Member of the Periodical Publishers Association (PPA)
As well as the general DMA accreditation we are have also qualified for the DMA's Response Management Specialist award. We were also a finalist in the Mailing House of the Year award at the PPA awards in 2006.
In line with the Investors in People scheme our employees, including Account Managers, work towards training and development plans to ensure that they are able to carry out their work to the best of their ability.
Jobs are also tested thoroughly and quality checks are carried out regularly in accordance with the ISO9001:2000 regulations, we are also regularly audited and have a documented complaints procedure.
Business Continuity Plan
We are conscious of the effect of a disaster on our customers, on our employees and on the very future of the company.
For these reasons we have created and documented our plans, and invested in Business Continuity resources both internal and external, for a situation that we all sincerely hope will never arise. Our fully documented plans are available on request.
BTB Mailflight also employ two full-time engineers to ensure any machine downtime is kept to a minimum.
*Our Response Fulfilment Services Manager has also been elected to the DMA's Response Management Council and is working with other council members to develop a formal quality benchmark scheme for the response fulfilment industry.
**Our Managing Director is Chairman of the MCA and sits on numerous mailing industry panels which helps illustrate our status within the mailing house industry, and it means we are aware of wider industry issues as soon as possible and can react to these swiftly. |
