Our fulfilment and postal services, in a nutshell
Our 43,000 sq ft mailing house is where we provide our direct mail fulfilment, lettershop and polywrapping services, and support services such as print management and data services.
Our 63,000 sq ft order fulfilment and contact centre is where we provide storage, pick and pack, and contact management services.
We provide our own UK postal solution, as well as being one of Royal Mail's largest partners, and we also work with the likes of DHL, TNT, UK Mail etc producing and sorting mail to their standards too.
As one of the UK's leading international mail consolidators we provide some of the lowest priced international postal services available, we mail worldwide, and even have our own mailing agents in over 70 countries.

Mailing houses vary significantly, in size, capabilities, experience, credentials, service, quality, and of course price. We would always advice you to visit the direct mailing houses you are considering working with, and our CEO Ian Kavanagh recommends these are the questions to get answered.
Do they have the mailing house capabilities you require?
BTB Mailflight operates a 43,000 sq ft mailing house (direct mail fulfilment, polywrapping and lettershop), a 63,000 sq ft mail order fulfillment centre, a 20 seat Contact Centre, and our own international postal solution. That is a service range that other direct mailing fulfillment houses will find hard to beat!
Do they have the capacity to handle your mailings?
BTB Mailflight is one of the largest UK mailing houses. We print, polywrap, envelope enclose, pick and pack millions of direct mail pieces a month. With large capacity and sophisticated production planning systems you can be sure we can fit in your direct mailings, and if you are ever late with materials we can always see what we can do to still meet your mailing date i.e. run the mailing across more polywrapping/direct mail machines, gear up an extra crew etc.

Can they provide postage discounts?
UK mailing houses can help clients achieve UK postage rates discounts, not all mailing houses are licensed by Royal Mail to undertake Mailsort, or OCR or CBC mailings, but BTB Mailflight are. In addition to this BTB Mailflight can also work to the requirements of UK Mail, TNT, DHL etc, and provide discounts on international postage that can be market leading.

Pioneering international mail consolidator, over 25 years
We consolidate international direct mail from many clients, this gives us huge buying power and we use this power to negotiate rates with many international mail postal operators who fight for this work i.e. La Poste, Deutsche Post, Swiss Post, Mail Africa, USPS, Royal Mail International etc. Fundamentally this is international postage brokering, and most of these postal operators only deal with the trade and not end clients.
Operate widest range of international direct entry services
We also have the largest network of direct entry mail services, we have mailing agents in over 70 countries worldwide, many of which offer extra discounts for certain types of international direct mail that they may specialise in distributing i.e. lightweight or heavyweight international mail, direct mail, and periodical services.

All of this is with the intention of ensuring clients save as much money as possible on their UK mailings.

UK mailing services: more than just Royal Mail!
BTB Mailflight is one of Royal Mail's largest mailing services partners and we are accredited to produce UK mailings to Royal Mail's standards so that clients can achieve postage discounts i.e. Mailsort, Presstream, Walksort etc. However Royal Mail is no longer the only option for UK mailing services, certain types of mailings can be cheaper using alternative mailing services and we have developed our own UK mailing solution working in partnership with other UK mailing services. Our UK mailing prices can be up to 25% cheaper than Royal Mail's equivalent standard tariff, so it's no wonder many clients are moving their bulk mailing postage account to BTB Mailflight. Where our mailing services are cheaper we will recommend them, but if the Royal Mail service is cheaper then we can also use them too. By using a mix of services you benefit from lower mailing prices and no loss of service, in fact our delivery aim for our 'second class' mailing service is two days, whereas Royal Mail Mailsort 2 is up to 3 days!
